This website is owned and operated by The Emerson
Center, a facility of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of
Vero Beach [UUFVB]. We recognize that visitors to our site
may be concerned about the information they provide to us and how we handle
and use that information. This Privacy Policy addresses those concerns. This
policy may be changed or updated from time to time.

Guiding Principle of our Policy
The guiding principle of the UUFVB and its Emerson Center is
that we affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person.
We believe that this principle impels us to protect the privacy of visitors
to this website.
Terms of Use
Acceptance of Terms.
The following are the rules ("Terms") governing
the use of The Emerson Center website ("Site"). By using the
Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and to follow these
Terms and all applicable laws and regulations governing the
Site. The Emerson Center reserves the right to change these
Terms at any time by posting them on the Site. Links or
content from other websites ("Third-Party Sites") are
governed by the Terms for the Third-Party Sites.
Permitted Use. The information, images, and software
("Content") on this Site is the property of The Emerson Center
and/or third parties supplying information to the Site. The
Content is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws.
You are only authorized to view and to retain a copy of pages
of this Site for your own personal use. Any reproduction,
publication, or further distribution or public exhibition of
materials provided at this site in whole or in part is
strictly prohibited.
Links. The Site may reference or link to Third-Party
Sites. The Emerson Center has no control over these
Third-Party Sites or the content within them. The Emerson
Center cannot guarantee that the content contained in these
Third-Party Sites is complete, accurate, and/or legal. The
Emerson Center does not warrant that these Third Party Sites
will not contain viruses or otherwise impact your computer. By
using the Site to purchase products, search, or link to
Third-Party Sites, you agree and understand that you may not
make any claim against The Emerson Center for any damages or
losses, whatsoever, resulting from your use of the Site or
Third Party Sites.
Privacy. The privacy of our users is important. Please
review our privacy policy found below.
Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from
submitting personal information to The Emerson Center. Federal
Law prohibits websites from collecting and/or distributing
personal information from children without parental consent.
At this time, The Emerson Center has no effective means to
obtain and track parental consent. Therefore, The Emerson
Center must prohibit the submission of personal information
from children under the age of 13.
DISCLAIMER
The Emerson Center does not promise that the Site or any
services, such as email, links, products, pricing, or searches
offered on the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, nor
that it will provide specific results from use of the Site or
any Content, search or link on it. The Site and its Content
are delivered on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. The
Emerson Center cannot ensure that files you download from the
Site will be free of viruses or contamination or destructive

THE EMERSON CENTER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE EMERSON CENTER WILL
NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE
OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING WITHOUT, LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Disputes. If there is any dispute about the Site or
involving the Site, you agree that the dispute will be
governed by the laws or the State of Florida without regard to
its conflict of law provisions. You agree to personal
jurisdiction by and venue in the state and federal courts of
the State of Florida, County of Indian River.
Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold The Emerson
Center, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and
other partners and employees, harmless from any loss,
liability, claim or demand, including reasonable attorney's
fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your
use of the Site.
Privacy Policy
Scope. This Privacy Policy covers The Emerson Center
treatment of personally identifiable information that The
Emerson Center collects when you are on The Emerson Center website ("Site"). This policy does not cover the treatment of
personally identifiable information that may be collected by
other websites ("Third-Party Sites") that The Emerson Center
links to or is otherwise affiliated with.
Information Collection and Use. The Emerson Center
collects personally identifiable information when you register
for an account or purchase products or services. The Emerson
Center also collects information from your browser including
browser type, browser version, browser settings, operating
system, pages visited, your IP Address, and Cookies. The
Emerson Center uses this information for general purposes such
as allowing you to add products and services to your shopping
cart, tailoring the content within the Site to match your
interests, and ensuring that the site continues to operate
properly with commonly used operating systems and browsers.
Your IP Address will be stored and used for security purposes
to prevent fraud and other illegal activity.
Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from
submitting personal information to The Emerson Center. Federal
Law prohibits websites from collecting and/or distributing

Mailing List. The mailing list is a list that may be
used by The Emerson Center and/or the organizations using The
Emerson Center to sell tickets. This mailing list may be used
to inform you of upcoming events and/or special promotions.
You have the option of opting out of the mailing list at
anytime. The Emerson Center will not send marketing or other
solicitations to patrons that have chosen not to be included
on the mailing list. Organizations using The Emerson Center to
sell tickets are prohibited from sending marketing or other
solicitations to those customer that have chosen not to be
included on the mailing list. Regardless of whether you've
opted out of the mailing list, The Emerson Center and/or the
organizations using The Emerson Center to sell tickets may
contact you regarding important information related to an
event you've already purchased tickets to. This may include
important information such as an event cancellation,
postponement, or relocation. It may also include a question or
problem related to your order or payment. Season ticket
holders may also be contacted regarding annual season ticket
renewals regardless of whether or not they've chosen to be
included on the mailing list.
Cookies. Cookies are small text files that are
downloaded to your computer. Cookies cannot damage your
computer. Cookies, by themselves, cannot be used to identify
you. Unless you've chosen to submit personal information to
The Emerson Center though registration or the purchase of
products and/or services, The Emerson Center cannot identify
you. Cookies are used by The Emerson Center to allow the
smooth operation of the Site and to track your activity so
that we may tailor the content of the Site to match your
interests.
Changes. The Emerson Center may change this policy from
time to time. Any changes will be posted on this Site.
Security Policy
Your payment and personal information is always safe. Through
our agreement with TIX.COM, our ticketing management
contractor, we have procured Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)
software that is the industry standard and among the best
software available today for secure commerce transactions. It
encrypts all of your personal information, including credit
card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over
the internet.
Refunds and Exchanges Policy
All Sales Are Final.
•There are no refunds, cancellations or
exchanges.
•All convenience fees, shipping charges & facility fees are
non-refundable.
•Please make sure you are aware of any age restrictions
before purchasing your tickets.
•Before completing your order, carefully review your event
and seat selection.
•When you examine your order please make sure that you have
selected the exact seats you require for the correct show,
on the correct date, at the correct venue. Mistakes cannot
be rectified after the sale has been confirmed.
•Policies set forth by our clients, including venues,
promoters, teams and theatres, prohibit The Emerson Center
from issuing exchanges or refunds after a ticket has been
purchased. We make every effort to replace tickets that have
been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
•If you have not received your tickets 24 hours before the
start of the event it is your responsibility to contact The
Emerson Center and make arrangements to pick your tickets up
at will call. Tickets that are not mailed are held at will
call.
• The Emerson Center is not responsible for tickets ordered
but not picked up at will call. By agreeing to these terms
purchasers waive their right to a refund for tickets not
picked up at will call.
Cancelled or Postponed Events.
Occasionally, events are cancelled or
postponed due to circumstances outside the control of The
Emerson Center. When this occurs, we makes every effort to
ensure you receive a prompt refund of the ticket price if
applicable. Convenience fees, shipping charges & facility fees
are non-refundable. If an event is cancelled, please contact
us for information on receiving a refund. If the event was
moved or rescheduled, the tickets will be honored for the
rescheduled date and no refunds will be issued. In some cases,
the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. Contact us
for exact instructions. Please make sure to include/provide
your Emerson Center confirmation number so we can expedite
your refund if applicable. If you purchased the ticket(s) at a
ticket center, you will need to return the tickets directly to
the ticket center where you purchased the tickets.
Convenience Fees.
Tickets purchased through The Emerson Center
may be subject to a convenience fee. These fees are always
non-refundable.
Ticket Delivery Policy
Order Acceptance. Orders are processed only after valid
order information has been received and verified.
Occasionally, we receive incorrect billing or credit card
account information for a ticket order that can delay
processing and delivery. In these cases, The Emerson Center
customer service will attempt to contact you, using the
information provided at the time of purchase. If The Emerson
Center is unable to reach you after its initial attempt, The
Emerson Center may cancel your order and may sell your tickets
to another customer.
Will Call. You will need to bring a picture ID, a
printed copy of your receipt and the credit card you used to
purchase the tickets to the venue on the day of the event to
pick up your tickets and gain admittance. Only the cardholder
can pick the tickets up, they cannot be left in someone else's
name. Please remember to print and bring the confirmation
emailed to you when picking up tickets from the Will Call
window where your event takes place. The Emerson Center is not
responsible for tickets ordered but not picked up at will
call. By agreeing to these terms purchasers waive their right
to any refund for tickets not picked up at will call.
In order to pick up your tickets, you may be required to
present:
•Your valid state photo ID, driver's
license or passport
•The credit card you used to purchase the tickets
The box office may not release tickets if
the name on the ID or credit card does not match the name used
to purchase the tickets from The Emerson Center or if the
photo on the ID does not appear to be the photo of the person
retrieving the tickets. To find out what other types of photo
ID are acceptable at the venue's Will Call, please contact the
venue directly.
Standard Mail.If you have selected United States Postal
Service as your delivery method, please allow at least 10 days
after your order is made to receive your tickets. Tickets sent
via USPS can be sent only to the verified billing address
within the U.S.
Print-At-Home. If you have selected to receive your
Print-At-Home tickets, they will be sent to you via email. You
must print out every ticket. If you ordered multiple tickets,
you must remember to print every ticket. You must present your
Print-At-Home tickets for entry into an event. You cannot use
your confirmation number. If you have trouble printing your
Print-At-Home tickets, please contact us.
