Guiding Principle of our Policy

The guiding principle of the UUFVB and its Emerson Center is that we affirm and promote the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We believe that this principle impels us to protect the privacy of visitors to this website.

Personal Information

We only collect personal information from visitors to this website on a voluntary basis. Personal information may include name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card numbers. We do not require this information to obtain access to any part of our site.

The Emerson Center and the UUFVB accept payments for tickets, products or donations by telephone or mail. We make every effort to protect the safety and security of your transaction. In the future we may be able to process credit card transactions through our website. If and when we are able to process internet transactions, we will use high-grade encryption and the https security protocol to communicate with your browser software. This method is the industry standard security protocol, which makes it extremely difficult for anyone else to intercept the credit card information you send to us.

Credit card numbers are not kept by us. After a transaction involving a credit card has been completed and we no longer need that information we destroy it.

The Emerson Center and the UUFVB make every effort to ensure that the information presented on this website is correct and accurate.
