THE ROCKET MAN SHOW, A TRIBUTE TO ELTON JOHN
THURSDAY, January 20, 2022 at 7:00PM

Simply put – this is Elton! Hand-picked by Elton John himself, it was Rus Anderson’s own live production ‘The Rocket Man Show’ which got him noticed and chosen as Elton John’s official body double for his ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ world tour videos & photos! In the concert, Rus recreates the magic & live persona of a young Elton like no other. Storming around the stage with a fun-loving sense of flamboyance; part diva, part soccer player, killer vocalist, fierce piano player, all rock & roller. His painstaking attention to detail includes wearing gorgeous, colorful & spectacular costumes (many worn by Elton) including his iconic boots, glasses & jumpsuits from 1973, as well as a sparkly Swarovski tuxedo from 1984. It is an extremely sincere, visual, theatrical, funny & interactive show, but most of all it is musically beautiful. There are ballads & driving rock songs. Audiences laugh, cry, sing & dance as they recall the highs & lows of Elton’s legendary concerts. Remember when rock was young? You will after this show!

JONATHAN EDWARDS – LIVINGSTON TAYLOR
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2022 at 7:00PM

Livingston “Liv” Taylor picked up his first guitar at the age of 13, which began a 50-year career that has encompassed performance, songwriting, and teaching. From top-40 hits “I Will Be in Love with You” and “I’ll Come Running,” to “I Can Dream of You” and “Boatman,” the last two also recorded by his brother James Taylor, Livingston’s creative output has continued unabated. His musical knowledge has inspired a varied repertoire, and he is equally at home with a range of musical genres on guitar or piano; folk, pop, gospel, jazz; and from upbeat storytelling and touching ballads to full orchestra performances. A full professor at Berklee College of Music, Boston, MA, where he teaches a Stage Performance course, Taylor exudes a warmth that connects him to his fans. His relaxed on-stage presence belies the depth of his musical knowledge. His moving rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” begins in a voice barely above a whisper and the entire audience is invited to join in with delicate and loving devotion to him and the academy award-winning song. Livingston Taylor’s entire performance reminds us all that we too can dare to have our dreams come true by simply wishing on a star.

Jonathan Edwards boasts a highly respected four decade filled repertoire that includes such classics as “Sunshine (Go Away Today),”and “Sometimes in the Morning.” It is said that the way that Jonathan Edwards commands the stage demonstrates that he’s been playing for many years, and his ease and confidence   performing his folk tunes is a real sign of his genuine talent and skill. This is one veteran performer who is neither grizzled nor nostalgic.  An artist who measures his success by his ability to attract and take good care of an audience, Jonathan maintains that it is the feedback he receives after his shows that keeps him going. Audience will recognize an outward maturity and an inner, youthful exuberance combined in an intense and contagious love of life. Between guitar and harmonica, Edwards’ concerts create an environment that make his singing seem effortless with a spontaneous natural occurrence of peace, love and understanding through the gift of music.

BROKEN ARROW – THE MUSIC OF NEIL YOUNG
Thursday, MARCH 3, 2022 at 7:00PM

Broken Arrow performs the music of Neil Young, featuring both the rockin’ electric Crazy Horse tunes and the more acoustic, pedal steel driven country rock material. The band delivers these classic songs faithfully while taking them out on some jamming excursions and tastefully tweaking some of the arrangements.

Joe Mass nails the Neil vocals perfectly and the harmonies are spot on. These guys always have audiences on their feet singing along and demanding encores at every show.

DAVID CLAYTON THOMAS – BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS
Thursday, MARCH 10, 2022 at 7:00PM

David Clayton-Thomas began his amazing journey as a homeless street kid and developed into one of the most recognizable voices in music while making “Blood Sweat & Tears” (BS&T) one of the most important pop music groups of the 1990s.

To date, he has sold over 40 million records. He was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1996 and in 2007 his jazz/rock composition “Spinning Wheel” was enshrined in the Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame. In 2010 David received his star on Canada’s Walk of Fame. His 1968 debut album with BS&T sold 10 million copies worldwide. The self-titled record topped the Billboard album chart for seven weeks and charted for a staggering 109 weeks. It won an unprecedented five Grammy awards, including Album of The Year and Best Performance by a Male Vocalist. It featured three hit singles, “You Made Me So Very Happy” “And When I Die”,” and “Spinning Wheel” as well as an irresistible rendition of Billie Holiday’s “God Bless the Child” that became a signature song for him. He continued to tour successfully under the BS&T name until 2004 and now he has launched a 10-piece band under his own name. Through the years, he has lost none of the attributes that have made him one of the greatest vocalists of his generation with that unmistakable voice that just sings the heck out of a song.
